ABB plans to expand downtown facilities

ABB will soon expand operations by adding a new building to its facilities in downtown Crystal Springs. A 10,000 square foot building, essentially a pole barn, is needed to test electrical equipment. The company is currently outsourcing this task and needs to have the capability to do it in-house.
The facility in Crystal Springs is one small part of its operations and deals solely with electrical components. Formerly Kuhlman Electric, the downtown location has existed for 50 years. The company supports the community and provides jobs for many local and county residents. Crystal Springs looks forward to continuing to work with ABB as it continues to grow and meet the developing needs of the market.
